MOT,OTR/L Occupational Therapist

Hi! I'm Lely li

I am a national board certified and registered occupational therapist and passionate about helping children pursue a life full of meaning and value. In 2010, I received my Master’s degree in occupational therapy at The State University of New York at Buffalo. I have been a licensed occupational therapist in New York City for over 10 years and recently moved to Texas. In New York City, I worked in public schools, private schools, and pediatric outpatient clinics. I also had the honor of leading the occupational therapy department in a unique school called Children’s Academy of New York and an outpatient clinic called The McCarton Center.

I believe in a strong collaboration between each child, family and therapeutic team. My training in a wide range of modalities, enables me to provide dynamic intervention while addressing meaningful goals to help children discover their fullest potential. I specialize in sensory integration and completed the USC Sensory Integration CE Certificate Program. I am Level 1 Certified Handwriting Without Tears and also a provider for auditory intervention programs including The Listening Program and in-Time from Advanced Brain Technologies, and trained in Therapeutic Listening from Vital Links. Additionally, I am trained in practicing neurodevelopmental techniques, reflex integration, Astronaut Training, and The Alert Program for Sensory Regulation.

I am a mother to three incredible children who are responsible for making my heart grow more than I ever could have imagined, and a wife to a supportive and loving husband. I love spending time with my family, exploring Texas and fun creative art projects.
