Kyla Taylor

M.S., CF-SLP, SLP Intern

Hi! I'm Kyla

I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Fellow. I was born and raised in Munford, TN. I received my B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. Afterwards, I moved to St. Louis, MO where I obtained my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Fontbonne University. Throughout my time in St. Louis, I gained additional knowledge and experience as an intern in the clinical, school-based, and skilled-nursing settings with children and adults. While there, I also enjoyed studying research related to culturally and linguistically appropriate practices, and it is my goal to contribute more research in this area.

I have a passion for working with children of all ages who are impacted by communication disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, language delays, disorders that utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, and more. I am committed to valuing the unique identities of clients and their families while working diligently to achieve their goals. Fun things I love to do in my free time are self-care spa days, spending time with my family, naps, and eating potatoes of any form (French fries, mashed, potato chips, etc.)!
