Ashley N.

M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech Language Pathologist

Hi! I'm Ashley

I am an ASHA-certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for helping children find their voice and communicate with confidence. I earned both my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University.

Originally from Austin, Texas, I began my career in outpatient pediatrics, where I developed a passion for supporting children and their families. I have experience working with children and young adults ages 1–20 with a wide range of communication and feeding needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Language Impairments, Sensory-Based Feeding Difficulties, Articulation/Phonology Impairments, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Fluency Disorders and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

I prioritize play-based, child-led therapy that supports each child’s regulation, sensory needs, interests, and individual communication style. One of my favorite parts of being a Speech-Language Pathologist is learning alongside the children and families I work with each day. Helping children feel understood and giving them meaningful ways to express themselves has shaped me both inside and outside of the clinic. When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy going for outdoor walks, grabbing coffee, trying new restaurants around Dallas, reading, and cooking.
