I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a B.S. in speech-language pathology and Audiology in May 2011. I went on to earn a M.S. in communication disorders from Texas State University. I speak English and Arabic and realize the importance of carefully evaluating and treating speech and language disorders in bilingual populations. I worked in various settings including a hospital, public school and home health agency before beginning as the first therapist at Synaptic Pediatric Therapies. I have specialized training in treating clients with stuttering disorder. In 2016, I completed a health mission trip in Gaza City to offer resources in a center that served children with down syndrome and autism. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, practicing Pilates and spending time with family.
