Amanda Roddy

M.C.D., CCC-SLP, Lead Clinician, Speech Language Pathologist

Hi! I'm Amanda

I received my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Auburn University in Alabama and since then I have lived and worked in Florida, Wisconsin, Hawaii, and Texas. As a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist since 2007, I have gained experience with children, ages birth-21, across the settings of outpatient clinics, schools, and home health. My experience ranges in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Dysphagia/Feeding Impairment, Vital Stim Therapy for dysphagia, Traumatic Brain Injury, Language Impairment, Articulation/Phonology Impairment, a variety of Augmentative Alternative Communication devices (AAC), Fluency Disorder, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. I am passionate about learning what motivates and empowers each individual child’s communication so they can be truly heard. I live in Garland with my husband, two crazy children, a dog, a rabbit, and four chickens. I enjoy bright colors, gardening, personality typology, and camping with my family.
